The Logic…

Plug & Play also called PnP / Auto Detection / Auto Config. The name/concept sounds interesting.

In computing, Plug & Play is a term used to describe the characteristic of a universal computer bus, or device specification, which facilitates the discovery of a hardware component in a system, without the need for physical device configuration, or user intervention in resolving resource conflicts. Copy pasted straight from Wikipedia.

On the same lines in programming, Plug & Play is a term used to describe the characteristic of a program or a class, which facilitates the discovery of a module/component in a system, without the need for logical module configuration, or user intervention in resolving any conflicts. This is my version.

Basically work in such a way that if you plug a certain module into your project it should play (chalna chahiye). This might sound close to MVC but its not, till now it’s been four and half years i am working in this industry and i have not picked up MVC yet. PnP modules can work based on certain parameters/xml values passed to it or completely independent without disturbing the current project architecture. Even in the course of project if it’s removed in between it should not hamper anything.

This is the way i work and in this blog i will be posting such kind of modules/classes which i have developed or learned that can help to facilitate your project. Dedicated to all my colleagues and the developers community.

Stay Plugged In and Keep Playing.
